Excellent A2 Motorcycle - immaculate condition in Edinburgh, Midlothian for sale

For sale is my Honda CBF250. This bike is in superb condition with no rust at all throughout and no sign of pitting on any chrome. The bike is mechanically sound (of course, its a Honda!!) and passed its last MOT with no advisories. Partial service history, spare key and genuine Honda tool kit included . Some years show 50-60 miles between MOTs! The tyres are Pirelli MT75 with lots of tread left and no signs of perishing. There is a very small dent in the fuel tank the size of a 5p coin (photo). It hasn't penetrated the paint so no rust. Shame cause otherwise it would be absolutely perfect! This bike drives very well and is incredibly easy through the traffic and very confidence inspiring (I’m now a lane-splitting master!). This bike is A2 Licence friendly and as a first step up from a 125cc it is ideal. It has exactly double the power but only 20 odd kilos more weight. Plenty of power around town and it can hold 70mph no problem. That and it returns 90+ MPG! It won’t rip out of your hands but honestly, I had more fun with this than my 600cc XJ6! It’s very characterful and I do like a single cylinder… For a winter hack it will hold up very well but watch that chrome exhaust! (still, if you are looking for a winter hack you don’t need me to tell you that…). These bikes hold their value very well so if it’s in the same condition in the spring sell it on for 50 quid less! Very cheap to insure!! I have 1yrs no claims and got it for “on the street” with no chain etc. (because they shaft you every time if these bits are included) for £140 per year. In reality it has been garaged and its £38 per year road tax. This bike comes with a center stand, genuine Honda rack and Givi topbox (32L) and a pair of mirror extenders (good for the larger riders like me at 6’2”). It had a new OEM battery 4 months ago and I also gave it a full oil flush and change +filter when I got it and a new spark plug. The carb was fine so I left that well alone. Just last week I checked the valve clearance and it was spot on (genuine gasket replaced etc.). Should be good to go for another million miles or so until it needs looked at again!
