For Sale: Gibson Melody Maker Your chance to buy a quite scarce USA made Gibson reissue. 2010 Gibson Melody Maker. According to the serial number this guitar was made in Gibson's Nashville plant on 29/7/2010. Mahogany body & neck with a rosewood fretboard. Tobacco burst colour. Wraparound bridge-which intonates well. Gibson deluxe tuners- which work perfectly. One single coil pickup- which is quite hot: it can cover single coil twang to an almost P90ish growling tone through use of the volume & tone controls. It has been gigged, so there are some superficial marks & paint chips on the guitar. I've done my best to show these in the photos. It plays great & has a pleasingly chunky neck profile, this combined with the very lightweight body make for a very comfortable instrument. Freshly restung with 10s.
